To being, the glass pipe uses a light green base color for the majority of the background. Some pond-themed elements are included as well, such as lily pads, water flowers, and other natural features. The standout feature, however, is certainly the two worked glass frogs on either end of the piece. The bowl itself is the site of the larger of the two, and the second rests closer to the mouthpiece. Several glass marbles were also added for more grip, and those marbles are designed to look like droplets of water filled with tadpoles.
As an American brand of glass pipes, Empire Glassworks takes great pride in the quality of their pieces. They only use top-quality glass of the highest possible thickness for the most durable pieces they can make, and this spoon pipe with a frog theme includes some of the most detailed structures found in any Empire Glassworks pieces. Each frog is meticulously worked and milled to the exact shape and color that artist had in mind to perfectly match the rest of the piece.
